The Delaplane Strawberry Festival is hosted annually by
Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Piedmont
Parish. Held in Sky Meadows State Park, in the heart of Virginia's beautiful hunt country,
the festival is only an hour's drive from Washington DC. It is a weekend of family fun,
featuring local crafters, children's games, hayrides, live entertainment, a raffle, an old-fashioned
bake sale, petting zoo, fresh strawberries, and more. Events include 5K Run/Walk and our very popular
National Strawberry Eating Championship! Proceeds from the festival are used to fund the ministries and outreach programs of
Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Delaplane.
